Scotland's Gardens Scheme is a registered charity which opens mainly privately owned Scottish Gardens to the public. Revenues received are donated to specified beneficiaries. Wester Cloquhats earnings from the Garden open day are donated to 2 charities, 40% of proceeds benefit the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and 60% of proceeds going to SGS Charities.
Cloqhat gardens are set high up with fine views of the Ericht river and Bridge of Cally. Lawns, mixed borders, a wide range of shrubs, roses and herbaceous plants can be found and plants are sold on the day. Water garden. Teas, coffees and a mixture of home baked cakes and biscuits are also on sale.
Cloquhat Gardens are open to the public once every 2 years, the next opening is in 2012. Turn off A93 just north of Bridge of Cally and follow signs for ½ mile
No dogs please.
